To Differentiate or not to Differentiate: Overcoming the Challenges

Differentiated instruction raises student achievement. Whether you’re just starting to implement Differentiated Instruction (DI) or are well along in your effort, this presentation offers concrete strategies to help principals, teacher leaders, and district administrators learn how to promote the use of DI in every classroom.

Learn the obstacles and the opportunities for DI. Discover the use of instructional techniques and materials to enhance the learning styles of your students, improve cognitive development, and advance the learning environment through grouping, meaningful activities, and emotional content.

Leading a school to high-quality differentiation requires more than professional development for the teachers. Leaders must know their role so they can initiate the process and work successfully with teachers to support the implementation of Differentiated Instruction.
